Conventional Lathe Machine

Lathe Machines are the most important heavy duty mechanical machineries that are used for the fabrication of metal, non-metal and alloyed parts into a finished product or a tool having a high end finish and an excellent dimensional accuracy. They consist of large number of heavy components that are required for the proper function and to perform different operations on a single unit. Lathe Machines are provided with an electric motor which is connected to a geared mechanism to rotate the spindle which in turn rotates the chuck in between which the work piece is tightly clamped and is pressed against stationary tools to remove materials. These are capable to perform a number of machining operations such as cutting, turning, knurling, chamfering, grinding and many more.
